Brent council’s Green Pledge Project was just a piece in the council’s puzzle to make the borough strive for carbon neutrality by 2030. Our project provides insight and education into everyday matters regarding environmental issues with issues alongside how we can further help and protect our environment by “being green”. The Project has converted many participants in our Wellbeing groups and our Dementia Cafes throughout Brent to being more environmentally engaged and friendly through numerous activities such as upcycling, potting, being more sustainable and reusing.
